About Art=Visual Event Photography
Art=Visual offers quality Event Photography for both Corporate Events and Non-Commercial Events such as parties and celebrations. All images are given directly to the client on CD at full print resolution and the images can be used however the client sees fit. Corporations can use the images for advertising purposes, in their printed materials, such as the company newsletter, or on their web sites. Party hosts can freely distribute the images to friends and family.
Art=Visual does not sell prints at the event. The reason is simple. Photographer Steve Markos is a perfectionist and only provides photographs that have been examined and re-touched to perfection. There is no time to do this at an event. Clients will be given the original images at print resolution and are free to distribute them to employees, co-workers, friends, and family. If you do not want to be bothered by this, we can set up a web site on which those interested in the photos can view them and place orders for prints.
Steve uses professional Nikon digital cameras and lenses and has two of everything. If one piece of equipment fails, he can continue on photographing the event without delay.
The Photographer
Be it a large corporate event or an intimate birthday party, indoors or outdoors, Art=Visual photographer Steve Markos has the instinct, experience, and skills to capture natural portraits and impromptu action. His event photos are never boring. Using his well honed photojournalistic style, he not only photographs people, but atmosphere and emotion. Not everyone can do that. Furthermore, his unique understanding of light gives his photographs a natural look even when working indoors with a flash. His technique mixes ambient light with the flash, thus avoiding the harshness that most flash photography exhibits. The result is photographs rich in warmth and emotion. In addition to events, Steve works as a wedding, portrait, and entertainer photographer. He has photographed television celebrities, rock bands, rap groups, models, and international dignitaries. His photos have been exhibited in the Atlanta High Museum of Art. Furthermore, he has been digitally retouching photographs of women for the glamour industry since 1994. There is no longer an excuse for anything but a perfect photograph.
